WatersMark Design Review Committee (WDRC)
Join us as we honor and extend the things that make WatersMark special.
The WDRC is made up of neighbors who value the character of our community and generously volunteer their time on behalf of our neighborhood. The Committee is committed to collaborate with homeowners as they seek to maintain and improve their cherished investment. While doing so, it is their responsibility to maintain the integrity of WatersMark as defined by the associations guidelines and regulations.
-
Landscape guidelines
During the early planning and design stages of WatersMark the developer’s goal was to ensure that the home sites, streets, and common parking areas harmonize and blend with, rather than dominate the natural environment or significantly change its color, texture or shape. [see guideline]
-
Remodel guidelines
Surrounded by the Tom Fazio Golf Course at the Barton Creek Country Club with its dramatic Hill Country views, WatersMark is a special place. In order to take advantage of these attributes each home has been built with a unique approach in design and construction. The intent of these home remodel guidelines is to preserve, protect and enhance the special environment that is WatersMark. [see guideline]
The Process
The WDRC must pre-approve all significant exterior or landscaping changes to our homes. Homeowners are encouraged to submit their proposals to the WDRC in person during the WDRC’s monthly meetings or alternatively, directly to the Property Manager. The Committee is available to offer assistance, answer questions and help homeowners with their submission. Proposals need to include a detailed description of the changes as well as supporting documents and pictures where helpful. Details required for your proposal will vary based on the nature of your project. The WDRC can assist with these. The WDRC will review proposals and provide timely feedback both verbally and in writing. Once a proposal is approved, the homeowner will work with the property manager to make sure all necessary provisions are successfully implemented.
